Now, I would like to take a moment to rant about this summer’s movies.
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.. SUCKED. I already sort of explained in my last update.
I saw Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire yesterday...
It was a disappointment. I expected way more.
First of all, the movie seemed so rushed. I know its a kid’s movie, but still, I think that they could’ve taken a little bit more time rather than rush a good 2 hours into a mediocre 1 hour 30 minutes.
Another thing that annoyed me was that they said that the movie took place in 1914 but there were quite a lot of instances where it certainly didn’t seem like it.
Then there were the obligatory minority characters that without them Disney would get sued. Why did they make the Hispanic girl look like Rosie Perez with two big sausages for lips? And unless memory serves me wrong there were not many minority doctors in 1914.
I could keep going but I have a bad memory.
I can only hope Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within isn’t just pretty looking crap.
