Hey everyone!
So I’m in Japan now. I have been for the past few days. I am still suffering from jet lag, it’s almost 7:30 at night and I’m really tired. It’s almost 6:30 am Monday morning for you guys.
Well, I cant be online very long, it’s very expensive. So I’m writing this in notepad and I’ll upload soon.
Please excuse the bad typing, it’s a Japanese keyboard and I’m not used to it. MANY different buttons.
Today was my first day at school. I went for about half the day, only for orientation. Very few people in the high school. Only about 1,000 today.. including elementary and middle. Everyone was so excited to see us exchange students introduce ourselves.
UnfamiliarDude and I are in the same homeroom, we are both the same age. Two more, Funny Guy and Feisty Gal, are one and two years younger, respectively.
I live VERY far from the school, so I am going to need to commute a lot and for a very long time, even more if I join a club. Which means I won’t get home from school until about 9 PM, OUCH! But my host mother and host father both work in the evening, so I’d be home alone for hours, as I am now.
I can’t decide whether I want to join the judo club or the kendo club. The kendo team is supposedly.. pardon my spelling, very good. But I don’t want to forget what I learned in karate, so I may need judo. I dont know!
So much walking! Kagoshima isn’t very scary. I am in a small town, in the Kagoshima prefecture. Before I arrived here, I made a connection in Tokyo, and I got to experience the whole train-rush-madness that I’ve heard about. It was hectic. The rep I met was very nice and she helped me out. I barely made it only 15 minutes before my next departure.
I saw one teenager on a train, and she was dressed really cool. I’ve seen a few other teenagers that were dressed or looked like Kiriyama from Battle Royale.. was that his name? The guy with the hair and he dastardly deeded people. The bad guy.. The one who had the machine gun.. him.. The one BurpingCat wants to be like.
