A Trip on the Ship from Hell

Chapter 1
It was early summer of 2020 and in New York there was excitement.
It was the maiden voyage of a new ship by the LostTrack cruise ship line.
The Titanic II was bound to set sail at dusk from New York. With its destiny to be the port of Cancun, Mexico.
All of the well-off families of New York were going be there for the maiden voyage. All the passengers thought that this would be a normal cruise ship. But there have been unusual event that had happen on the largest cruise ship that the world had seen that had been kept hidden from the public.
At dusk of the maiden voyage of the Titanic II, people began arriving at the gate to begin boarding.
One of the families that came to sail with the Titanic II was the Stubborn family. The Stubborns were a well-off family from Manhattan. They own several high-rise buildings and several hotels in Manhattan.
The Stubborns had four kids: Mary (the oldest), Lucy, James, and Tom. They had cabin 441 on the top of the boat.
Another family that came to sail with the Titanic II was the Jones. The Jones came from Long Island and they were the owners of chains of hotels and restaurants in New York.
The Jones had two kids: Sarah and Tina. The Jones had cabin 443. One cabin away from the Stubborns.
The last well off people that came to the Titanic II for its maiden voyage were the Studers. They were a young couple just married. This was to be their honeymoon. They had cabin 420.
The Titanic II left the New York Harbor early at nightfall. But this wasn’t going to be a normal cruise.
As the Titanic II set sail and was ready to leave the harbor for the open sea, the big ship missed a freighter that was coming in, by inches. Coincidence? Think not.
The vivid image of the older Titanic was very alive in the new ship. With pictures of the old crew, the old ship, and its passengers.
In Cabin 441, the Stubborn family were settling in the cabin and the sisters were fighting for the beds.
“I got top bunk!” screamed Mary.
“No, I got top bunk!” said Lucy.
“B*tch, I’m the oldest I get the top bunk. And if you get it, I will trash you,” Mary warned her.
“All right. But I’m complaining to mom because this isn’t fair,” Lucy warned her.
“You do that,” Mary told her, as she threw her pillow to the top bunk.
The brothers were quieter than their sisters. And they distributed their bunks in a fairer manner. James took the top bunk, because he got to the cabin first, and Tom took the bottom bunk.
In Cabin 443, the Jones were settling in to their lives in the sea.
Tina, the oldest, took the bottom bunk, because she was afraid of falling off the top one. While her sister took the other bunk. And their parents settle in in their master bedroom.
In Cabin 420, the young couple were settling in in their master bedroom.
“This cabin is awfully big for the two of us,” Mr. Studer complains.
“But think of all the free space we have,” his wife told him
“Yeah,” he said as he finished putting his suitcase in the closet.
Back in Cabin 441, Mary and Lucy had kicked out their brothers out of their room so Mary could take a bath.
Mary undressed and headed for the shower. A couple minutes later, a scream came from inside the bathroom.
Lucy ran to the bathroom and she found her sister covered with a towel sitting on the toilet. She had scratches that were bleeding all over her arm and hand marks on her neck.
“I didn’t know that during your time of the month that you bled from other parts of your body?” Lucy said, jokingly.
“No, stupid, something attack me,” Mary responded
“What?” Lucy asked, puzzled.
“I was coming out of the shower. When I felt something grab me by my neck. I tried to fight it off and it started to scratch me. But after I screamed it let me go,” Mary explained.
“Oh my gosh.”
“Look, Lucy, there is something happening in this ship that isn’t announce on the travel brochure. And we going find out what it is.”
“Okay, but won’t we get in trouble for that?”
“No, nobody will know.”

Mary got out of the bathroom and she put on a red tank top with a white pair of shorts. And she put on some tennis shoes.
Mary and Lucy quickly left their room for the dinner room. As they entered they were stopped and the butler questioned them, “Yes, Miss?”
“Stubborn family,” Mary informs him.
“Yes, right this way, Miss,” and the butler showed them the way.
As they sat down in their respective chairs around the table, their mother noticed the scratch marks on Mary’s arms.
“Mary, what happened, sweetheart?” her mom said in a worried tone of voice.
“Nothing, mom. I was just scratching my arms, but since I have such long nails, I just scratch myself too hard. And it just left some marks. And they started to bleed,” Mary explained.
“Okay, next time cut your nails,” her mom inform her.
“Okay, mom.”
