Chapter 4
Jim and Travis walked into their room located in Resident Hall 4.
Their roommate was the guy they met in the bus, Michael Schoskaly.
The brothers took the bunk bends while Michael took the bed near the wall. All of them took out their clothes bags and hanged them in their closet.
Their room had a computer, a stereo, an encyclopedia set, and a balcony that you could see in the distant the Green Mountains.
Bridgette was in Resident Hall 2. And she was paired up with two other girls who she didn’t even know.
Bridgette approached the two new girls, and said, “My name is Bridgette Bayford, and what is yours?”
“I’m Martina Bradford,” one of them said.
“And my name is Jenny Steward,” the other one responded.
Bridgette had the bed near the wall while the other girls took the bunk beds. Their room was the same layout as her brothers’ room.
Travis was in his room relaxing when he came up with the brilliant idea to put some music on the stereo.
He took one of his CDs and put it in the stereo. He turned it on and put the volume in maximum.
A few minutes later, their room advisor Mrs. Shana Dodge walked in.
Mrs. Dodge was short, old woman, with grey hair, and she worn a lot of makeup. She looked more like circus clown than a teacher, and she had intimidating look in her face.
She turned down the stereo, and said, “Somebody in this room already wants room restriction for tonight?”
“Sorry, Mrs. Dodge,” Jim said.
“Isn’t going happen again, Mrs. Dodge,” Travis answer her.
“Who was the one who turned on the stereo?”
“We did,” Jim responded.
“So you, Mr. Jim Bayford and Mr. Travis Bayford want room restriction for tonight?” Mrs. Dodge asks.
“No, Mrs.Dodge,” they answered.
“I think room restriction tonight will make you think twice next time,” she answer.
“So, Mr. Jim and Travis Bayford, you are place in room restriction for tonight.”
As soon she finished speaking those words, she left.
Travis screamed in defiance as she left, “Hey, b*tch! We aren’t turning our stereo down!” And he cranks the volume up again.
Mrs. Dodge came running in, took the stereo and throws it against the floor.
She told them, “For disobeying my order, I will see both of you in four days of administrative detention, and after dinner duty. Do you understand me? If I hear it up again, I’m suspending both of you.”
Before she left, she said to them, “Your administrative detention slips will be delivered tomorrow,” and then she left for good.
Michael looked at Travis and Jim and said, “I think you guys broke a record for causing trouble. You get place in room restriction. And get four administrative detentions. And after dinner duty. In the same day. That must be a record."
Nightfall had already come, so Travis, Jim, and Michael headed down to the dinner hall before it closed.
They picked up their dinner trays for the night which consisted of fried salmon, vegetables, and milk. Travis and Jim spotted their sister, and they sat next to her, and Michael sat next to them.
“Sorry, I forgot to introduce you to our friend Michael,” Jim told her.
“Hi, I’m Bridgette.”
“Bridgette, we got in trouble already tonight,” Travis said.
“Four administrative detentions. And after dinner duty. And room restriction for tonight,” Michael added.
A teacher approached them and said, “Keep your mouth shut during dinner, little brats. Or I’m giving detention to each one of you.”

Jim and Travis headed back to their dorm room, while Michael went to the main room of the hall.
Mrs. Dodge was standing outside of their room with a stick to make sure the brothers didn’t get out.
The rest of the night was pure boredom.
Lights out was called at 10:30 P.M. and everybody drifted to sleep.
